Marks and Spencer launches its Spring Summer Collection'2011
New Delhi, 24th February, 2011 Marks & Spencer has unveiled its new Spring/Summer collection which highlights the new styles for the season ahead. Catering to the global Indian, the collection includes womenswear, menswear, lingerie using fabrics that are synonymous with style and comfort.
Womenswear
"The Marks & Spencer Spring/Summer 2011 Womenswear collection sees an emphasis on a softer, feminine shape with a sophisticated play on proportion and elegance that embraces the 70’s and 80’s working alongside Navajo fringing, leather and a fluid minimal silhouette. Seventies is a key trend in the womenswear collection for both day and evening wear spanning the romantic and floral, to the sleek and sexy. For Seventies day choose from maxi dresses in ditsy florals or larger garden prints and for Seventies evening wear choose from vibrant jewel colour palettes, fluid jumpsuits with obi belts, and colour blocking.
Navajo Chic offers luxurious grown-up fabrics from butter soft suede to laser cut leather in a natural palette of pale pink, ochre and buttermilk.

The Fluid look offers a minimal cut with a predominant colour palette of white with accents of black and grey. With references to Japanese styling, the silhouettes are fluid with the emphasis on drape.
